Giclees

Chances are, the print you are interested in is from an original artwork that has been sold. Stretched canvas giclees are truly the next best thing.

About Giclees

Pronounces zhee-CLAY, the word itself is a derivative of the French verb "gicler" meaning "to spray or squirt.” The word was coined in 1991 by Jack Duganne in Los Angeles, California, and it describes a printing process using digital technology and inkjet printing to reproduce an exact copy of a work of art.

Images are generated from high-resolution digital scans of fine art, then printed with high-quality archival inks sprayed onto a canvas or specialized papers. This method provides incredibly detailed art reproductions with better color and tonal accuracy than any other means of printing.
